
On November 17, 2006 the Cancer Centre Grand Falls-Windsor was officially opened by the Honourable Premier Danny Williams. The new Cancer Centre Grand-Falls Windsor is a 4200 foot expansion and includes a state-of-the-art Chemotherapy Suite which can accommodate up to eight patients, four examination rooms, a large waiting area and an atrium. Patient volumes are steadily growing in this region and visits by cancer patients are projected to increase from 1,300 in 2002/2003 to 3,000 in 2006/2007.
